Bière d’Abbaye Triple Ambrée 10%: Malty, dried fruit note, Belgian style with loose foam, dried fruit, spices, subtle sweetness, aromatic malt, honey, almost no bitterness. Ambrée is the classic abbey beer. Its color comes from the malt, which was usually lightly roasted. Caramelized rock candy was used to prolong fermentation. A pinch of coriander and a bit of bitter hops round off the flavor. You could try it with a steak, barbecue, red meat, brie, camembert. Drink at about 8-12 degrees, from a red wine glass.
